We're Cristina and Josh, a certified interior designer and general contractor based in Wendell, NC. From full renovations to fully furnished homes, we manage every detail so your space looks and feels like you.
We started Newcomb Design & Build because we believe the best results happen when design and construction are under one roof — one vision, one conversation, no details lost in translation.
Cristina spent over eight years working alongside architects and contractors in New York City coordinating construction documents, specifying furniture and finishes, and managing the details that make a project come together. That experience gave her a sharp eye for how design and construction need to work hand in hand. Josh managed large-scale construction at one of the Southeast's largest general contractors. Together, we handle everything from sourcing a single statement piece to building the room it goes in.
From planning through construction, furnishings, and final styling. One team, one vision, every detail managed.
Complete design with trade-sourced furnishings, procurement, installation, and styling. We coordinate with your builder or ours.
Already have a design? We'll price it, manage trades, and deliver your build on schedule and on budget.
Classic equestrian style and English country charm take on a fresh, modern spirit in this Stonewater home. Arched white oak niches, a handmade zellige fireplace and rich mahogany-toned furnishings sit against a bright, pared-back palette. The result is tailored, serene and effortlessly refined.
Whether you're planning a renovation or furnishing a home from the ground up, we'd love to hear about your space.
